ZnetShows Challenge

Well, I could not sleep tonight, not sure if it’s the excitement of today. First of all, at work, we are doing a chili cook off, and I just have this gut feeling we are going to win!! Oh yea, I can make a mean chili. Of course, our students are really the ones making it. I work with young adults with mild cognitive differences and they are great!

Aside from that, today is the day when ZNETShows choose the pieces they want to take with them to Tucsan. I really enjoyed making all the pieces and hope that a few of them get chosen. I am positive we will all have at least one or more pieces at Tuscan because there is not one piece of jewelry here that I would not be proud of to wear… :-)

UPDATE! Tomorrow is when ZNETShows chose the finalist to have their jewelry pieces taken and displayed in Tucson. You can check out the event here.

SOoooo, since I have been awake for an hour already…UHH..actually since 4am….I decided I would put together all the blogs of the artists who have been creating as much as I have for this fun event. There is no order to the blogs, but take a peek at them and enjoy all their fantastic jewelry creations…

UPDATE! I now copied the list from ZNETShows website so now all of the links are correct.

ENJOY

Chris

First 2 sets of earrings...YAY

Well, between making dolls and making bullet earrings, I squeezed in making 2 pairs of earrings for Znetshows.  I was lucky and got colors I know I can work with. You know I love to work with copper, love the aged look of it and how fun it is to beat up.LOL  So below are my little creations...I hope you like them as much as I do.

By the way, I dont know if I mentioned this, but I bought this super cool lens attachment that makes these beautiful pictures I have been taking. Its a close up and wide angle attachment and is so much fun to play with. Please feel free to give me your input. ENJOY

I am on a Design team...OMG!

Ok, so its like this...I got an email a few days ago and was asked by ZNETSHOWS if I would be interested in being on their design team for an event they are having in Tuscan. Well, I know I am not the only one who was asked, but I still feel blessed and excited about doing this. Of course I said..WELL HECK YA! In the email they stated that they would send a few beads for me to created my jewelry design from. So I was expecting a few beads....WELL...as you see below, I got more than a few beads. I am so excited to do this. I dont have a lot of time to work on creating the jewelry but I have some great ideas. So with all those fantastic beads you see below I am going to have me some fun. I will keep you posted on my progress...Wish me luck that they get chosen to go to Tuscan! Please take a minute to visit their site and check out all of their new beads... YUM

Happy New Year

Happy New Year...we survived many horrific things this year and many happy and exciting things too! May we all be stronger and wiser for the new year and many more after! I received this wonderful greeting this morning and wanted to share it with you.

"Happy New Years everyone. May the new year bring you a renewed meaning to life and what it has to offer you. It is said that life is too short when in essence it is long and fruitful if you take the time to slow down and cherish the opportunities, blessings, miracles, and most importantly the PEOPLE that grace your presence everyday. The monetary items although nice won't keep you happy and engaged in life. Fill your soul with love, integrity, honesty, compassion, intelligence, and trust. Remember there are good things in the world; the bad is just a reminder to focus on what you have LIFE, not what you can buy, steal, or cheat from the next man. Be balanced in all that you do. The Golden Rule is golden for it speaks volumes - 'Treat others as you would have done unto you'. I thank you to all my new friends, co-workers, acquaintances, and passerby's that came into my life this year. For you have allowed me to learn and grow some more. I am grateful for all of those who thought of me and my family even though we haven't spoken in days/months/years. I am grateful for those who talk negatively about me and my family for now I know to distance myself from you because I have no room in my life for your doubt and negativity. I am of Capricorn blood, loyal to the end until burned one too many times. Those who know me, KNOW ME to be true to my word. And with my word, from my heart of hearts I send blessings and love to you all - for without your presence regardless of how size you have touched my life. Wishing you the world's abundance - HAPPY NEW YEARS!" ~Natalie Matsche~

I couldn't have said this any better, only difference, I am a Sagittarius, honest, imaginative and according to my husband...a donkey..meaning stubborn..LOL Its our joke, and believe me I have a better one for him and he knows it too! He is a Taurus...what does that tell yas! Hehehehe...

Thank you all for stopping by and leaving me comments and becoming part of my world. I hope to continue sharing my love of life and my wild imagination.

Love and GOD Bless all of you!

Chris

IM FEATURED ON HANDMADE ARTISTS

Well, I want to brag a little.  I think its ok to brag once in awhile without feeling a little vein dont you? I, among many other artists at HandMadeArtists was asked to do a little write up about ourselves and how we have come to being the artist we are today.  So I answered all of the questions and turned in the form and have been waiting to see when my feature would present itself.  Well, I got the email yesterday and finally sat down and read it this evening.  I am so impressed at how Kimberly had interpreted my writing and wrote my life story in this amazing way. She had hit every event in my life so perfectly that I felt she was right there with me.  I am so thankful for her creativity in writing and seeing my life a little more clearly and with a little more flare. With all of this said, I am sure you really want to read the article now...right?  I sure hope so! Not to brag really but to share a little of my life with you.  Please take a few minutes to read it and I would love to have your comment posted either here or at HandMadeArtists site.  Thank you soooo much!
