Great Photo Collage Tutorial and Website!

Ok, so its not my tutorial, but this is an awesome tutorial I got from a group I belong to.  Its for making a photo collage.  You have one large image and 3 small ones.  She goes into depth showing how to create the template.  There are great step by step images with arrows pointing you in the right direction.  I also found this site to have multitudes of tuts and tips for free!  I love free stuff!  Enjoy!

Ooops...

Ok, so I have been slacking off a little, well not totally!  I did promise more tips and I was gently reminded that I have not been fulfilling my end of my own promise. So, I have been working on a big project and I wanted to present it to you little at a time.  I am still working on the first half of it.  Sooo please hang on just another week or so. I will have more time in about a month to put more effort into putting more things together. Thanks for your patients and being a follower...

Happy Valentines Day

Nothing like falling a little behind in life. Its been way too long since I wrote on my blog.  I hope you are enjoying your new year and it is better than the last.  Life has been pretty much the same for me, as always I end up doing too many things.  Anyway, today is Valentines Day, so make it a special day for those you love!  I had my surprise sitting on the stove this morning.  Got a beautiful dozen Orange Roses.  My husband knows me well!  Red roses are beautiful too, but I prefer the orange or yellow ones...they are all so pretty!  I will have to put up some photos a little later today.  Enjoy your day, mine has yet to begin!

My Word for the year!

I worked hard on this little project this evening and finally came up with something I like!  I only had to start over like 3 times...lol  I hope you like it...

FUN SITE!

If you like to play with words like I do, this site is really cool!  Visual Thesaurus puts together a cluster of words together for you with one little click of your mouse!  You get a fun diagram plus all the examples of the word you are looking up and the possibilities you can mean with that one little word.  I recently joined this online Scrapbooking Journaling group, its a years adventure in creating a journal using just the one word you pick!  So I did the hunt online because that is how I am....and I love a thesaurus cause that is how I am...and viola!  This is inexpensive to join for a year, only $20 and you can cancel at any time which I like just in case I change my mind.  But I doubt it.  You can always just do the copy and paste routine too if you prefer, but this puts it all together for you with just one little click... I know now what I am going to do for my Journal, I will keep you up to date as time goes by.  I may put together a different blog, we shall see!  Have fun checking out this site!  I know I did...hehehe

Ok, so Im a little late, but you know....really...its alright!  LOL  Ive been busy trying to figure out what my new year is going to bring me!  I made a really cool bracelet so far, joined an art journal group, re-upped my subscription to Doll Street Journal, made more stitch markers today, and joined a gym!  So, I think my new year will be a good one!  Here is my newest bracelet I thought I would share with you first since it is done...LOL  It is mine, and not for sale.  I do like to keep what I make sometimes...hehehe...  Hope you like it!  OH, just so you know, I am also working on another little article about photographing your art!  Just some things I have learned over the past few years of doing my own photography and some of the obstacles I have come across...Give me another week or two for the first part of the article.  It will be worth the wait I promise!
