Bead Soup Revealed!

FYI, I have to mention this....I created this simple layout using My Memories Suite 2.  It is a fairly new program that I just started using and absolutely love it.  They have a ton of pre-made templates and all you have to do is insert the picture...move it to the spot you want it on...and viola...it automatically puts it into the spot.  You move the picture around until you like the position then move on to the next picture...so simple in creating a great collage of your work.  I have been using Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro..even Elements, and this is probably the easiest program to do a quick layout.  Fun stuff...

  1. Those turned out so great. I love the collage with all the pics. Hadn't heard of that program. And liked the flickr post with the different pics. Love the way you put everything together in the necklace and the earrings are adorable.

  3. Thank you all very much. I really enjoyed doing this mix. I still have more beads to play with too! I hope to make one more bracelet and perhaps a couple more pairs of earrings. I made the bracelet yesterday after I got home from work! LOL

  14. My mix sat on my work table for a long time until one day it struck me as to what I was going to create. Then it only took me a short time after that to make the necklace. The bracelet on the other hand I didnt make until the day before the revealing....I had so much fun putting this all together...THANK YOU!

  17. Holy cow, how did I MISS you! OK. I'm going to blame a HUGE spreadsheet.

First, I LOVE how you presented your photos, and very kind of you to share how you did it. I LOVE the colors you used to frame the faces -- and amazonite is one of my favorite stones and it goes wonderfully with what you did.

I really like the creative seed bead and stone dangles on the bracelet -- it reminds me of a tribal choker necklace for your wrist!

The earrings are great! You really did do a LOT of justice to your soup.

And I do hope you'll participate next time -- the dates and blog badge are up on my blog now.

(Sorry again that I missed your blog!)

  18. That focal bead seems to be really huge! The earrings are what I love the most, but I have a soft spot for earrings. The truth is you made great pieces out of your soup.
