I'm thinking these are for knitting, right? I so don't know anything about knitting, but I imagine this is to mark your place if you stop for a bit? (Do knitters EVER stop?!) I'm amazed at what they do! And I think these are so cute, I want to take up knitting just so I can use them! (I think I might do better to use them as earrings instead though... Really....) Wonderful designs though!

THis is the original message from Sharyl....I was not so smart and deleted it...sorry! Anyway, yes....they are for knitters and those who crochet....stitch counters is also another name for these.
